According to the order of Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, the first lesson will be dedicated to patriotism. Over 150,000 pupils have been admitted to the primary schools for the school year of 2015-2016.
Pupils will be provided with textbooks. Most of the textbooks will be new. For the first time, 4,095,370 textbooks under 141 titles were published for 4th, 6th and 8th grades this year.
Textbooks under 70 titles were published for 8th grades. The textbooks have already been delivered to all schools. Pupils of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 10th and 11th grades will be provided with textbooks published in previous years.
2,445 new teachers will work for the first time. They will start their work after swearing.
