A series of events were held in the Combined Arms Army regarding the start of the second training period of the 2023 training year, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told reporters.
The blessed memory of Shehids (Martyrs) was honored, and the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed at the ceremonies.
In formations and units, a drill review of military personnel was held and material and training bases were inspected.
At the ceremonies, the full implementation of the activities planned for the past training period was emphasized, the military personnel were informed about the weapons and equipment recently adopted into the armament and the activities carried out to improve the management of troops. The main goals and objectives for the new training period were brought to the attention.
The commanders of units invited the commanders of other units to compete for the title of the best in combat training during the new training period. Following the speeches, the military personnel solemnly marched in front of the podium.
