Türkiye’s Igdir city names new kindergarten after Shusha

The newly built kindergarten in the Topçular district of Türkish city of Igdir has been named after Azerbaijan’s city of Shusha, AzVision.az reports.

The proposal to name the kindergarten as Shusha - the cultural capital of Azerbaijan and the Turkic World, located in front of the Heydar Aliyev Lyceum, was made by the diaspora activist, Editor-in-chief of “Yeşil İgdır” newspaper Cabbar Şiktaş.

The proposal was welcomed by Governor of Igdir Huseyn Engin Sariibrahim, and the relevant decision was approved.

Huseyn Engin Sariibrahim said that following the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, President Ilham Aliyev and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed the Shusha Declaration, thus sending very important messages to the world.
