Enlightenment activities held by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense jointly with other state institutions according to approved plans continue, the Ministry of Defense told reporters.
“A seminar with the participation of servicemen was held in one of the military units of the Air Force.
First, the memory of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of the Motherland, was honored with observing a minute of silence.
The measures on forming a healthy generation and protecting young people from bad habits were highlighted at the seminar attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the regional executive power and the Prosecutor's office, medical specialists, as well as servicemen. These measures are one of the most important directions of the state policy of Azerbaijan.
Enlightenment talks were also held with servicemen, their questions were answered and the necessary recommendations were given to them,” the ministry said.
