Azerbaijani MP Kamran Bayramov has participated in the 44th General Assembly of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) held on August 6-10 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Bayramov met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Indonesian Parliament Puan Maharani and conveyed to him the greetings of Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
MP Kamran Bayramov also joined the Azerbaijan-AIPA dialogue panel on "Parliamentary cooperation: joint commitments for peace, stability and progress", and highlighted Azerbaijan`s active participation in the UN, Non-Aligned Movement, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other prestigious international organizations, its contributions and achievements.
The Azerbaijani MP gave an interview to the prestigious "CNN Indonesia" TV Channel and highlighted relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia, the cooperation of the Milli Majlis with AIPA member parliaments and the current situation in the South Caucasus region.
