Azerbaijan’s first lady, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony.
After cutting the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the university’s Baku branch, Mehriban Aliyeva, Russia’s Healthcare Minister Veronika Skvortsova, rector of the First Moscow State Medical University Petr Glybochko, government and public representatives of Azerbaijan reviewed the conditions created there.
Then a meeting was held with the first students and professors of the university’s Baku branch.
Azerbaijan’s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva addressed the meeting.
