He said that the government pursues a balanced policy in this regard.
“The government controls this issue,” the minister said. “No changes in the social security policy due to oil cheapening are expected. On the contrary, we try to pay more attention to the issue of social security of the population and try to increase the number of social projects.”
In accordance with the drafts of state and consolidated budgets for 2016 published by the Azerbaijani ministry of finance, budget revenues were formed taking into account the oil prices at $50 per barrel.
