Shusha hosts discussions on relations between Azerbaijani, Slovak cities

Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Boris Kollár has today visited Azerbaijan’s city of Shusha, as he met with Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district Aydin Karimov, AzVision.az reports. 

Aydin Karimov lauded Boris Kollár’s second visit to Shusha, noting the progress in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Slovak cities as well as bilateral ties.

He briefed the speaker about the rapid large-scale reconstruction and restoration works carried out in Shusha, including the constructions of the secondary school No 1 and Shusha city hospital.

The Special Representative noted with regret that all the historical sites of Shusha city, including mosques, streets, springs and other monuments were subjected to Armenian vandalism.

Boris Kollár highlighted the high-level of development of diplomatic relations between the two countries, saying that the visit to the liberated territories has left a positive impression on him.
