Azerbaijan sees 4.2% rise in GDP
Share of non-oil sector in GDP rose from 57.7% to 68.4%
In January-August, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) made AZN 36.0 bln, up 4.2% from previous year.

State Statistical Committee told that the value added in non-oil sector of economy increased 7.3% and its share in GDP rose from 57.7% to 68.4%. 31.6% of GDP fell to share of oil sector. Value added in this sector fell 0.1%.

34.6% of GDP was formed in industry, 13.4% in construction, 9.9% in wholesale and retail trade, repair of cars and motorcycles, 6.3% in agriculture, forestry and fishery, 5.8% in transport and storehouse, 2.8% in living and catering, 2.0% in information and communication, 17.2% in other spheres.

New taxes to product and import made 8.0% of GDP.
