Heydar Aliyev Foundation popularizes Azerbaijani culture in Germany
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation continues to implement projects to popularize the Azerbaijani culture all over the world. The next events of this kind are planned to be held in a number of German cities.

The first event will be held in Stuttgart, in a city with old German traditions, with the help of the consulate of Azerbaijan in this city. `Theatrehouse`, known as a place of great cultural events, will host an evening of Azerbaijan on 14 November.

The concert will feature a program composed of works of Azerbaijani composers. The works of prominent Azerbaijani composers Gara Garayev, Fikrat Amirov, Jovdat Hajiyev and Tofiq Guliyev will be performed by virtuous piano players Farhad Badalbayli, Murad Huseynov as well as German musicians.

The event will also feature picture and photo exhibitions.

One of the stands reflecting 19 pieces of painting by talented youth is called `Germany through the eye of an artist.` The works that will win the traditional photo contest on the theme of Germany will be showcased on one of these stands. The concept of the photo exhibition is to present works painted by young artists, who have never been in Germany, with a creative thinking. As part of the project held since 2008, three winner young men travel to Germany, visits galleries and museums in Berlin and attend master classes of famous German artists.

Photos depicting life of Germans who live in Azerbaijan since 19th century will be showcased in another stand at the event. The photos tell about Siemens brothers who built Europe`s largest copper smelting plant in Gadabay region of Azerbaijan and work and life of thousands of other Germans in Azerbaijan.
