Armenia also needs Karabakh settlement
The resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is necessary for every side, including Armenia, Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu said at a joint press conference with Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku.
He said the question that how far Armenia can go with this problem needs serious considering.

If Armenia wants to contribute to regional security, international peace and security, it must demonstrate a serious effort so that the discussion could result in something, the FM said.

He noted that all the concerned countries need not to view this process as a frozen issue. “They must bear in mind that a frozen conflict may erupt at any time and make efforts for a solution,” he said.

Turkey believes this conflict will be settled within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and it cannot be delayed any longer, the FM noted. The fact that Azerbaijani territories remain under occupation and this occupation being regarded as something normal is unbelievable and this unbelievable situation will change,” he said.
