Azerbaijan has become Georgia’s largest trade partner this year, according to the Georgia’s National Statistics Office.
Official figures suggests that Georgia exported goods worth $632.68 million to Azerbaijan in January-September of 2023.
The export of goods from Georgia to Azerbaijan increased by 29.5 percent compared to 2022 and accounted for 13.7 percent of the total export.
During January-September of last year, Georgia exported goods worth $488.67 million to Azerbaijan.
During the first 9 months of the current year, the total export of Georgia increased by 12.7 percent to reach $4.607 billion.
