Azerbaijan hosts exhibition of Turkish defense industry companies within joint tactical exercises

An exhibition of weapons and vehicles was shown on Distinguished Visitors Day held as part of the "Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2023" joint tactical exercises involving servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army and the Turkish Armed Forces, AzVision.az reports.

During the exercises, stands of the ROKETSAN, HAVELSAN, ASELSAN, BAYKAR and other Turkish companies were shown.

The delegations, headed by Minister of National Defense of Türkiye Yashar Güler, Minister of Defense of Tajikistan, General-Colonel Sherali Mirzo, Chief of the Department of Military Education and Science of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, Major General Zhumabek Akhmetov, and

Deputy Minister of Defense for Combat Training of Uzbekistan, Colonel Kadirjon Tursunov, were introduced to the exhibition upon their arrival in Azerbaijan at the invitation of the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Zakir Hasanov.

The guests also got acquainted with armored combat vehicles, military equipment for various purposes, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as other military means available in the armament of the Azerbaijan Army.

The exercises are dedicated to the 100th anniversary of establishing the Republic of Türkiye.
