Azerbaijan Tourism Agency reviews action plan for 2023-2024 with BSEC

Azerbaijan's State Tourism Agency has discussed the action plan for 2023–2024 with the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC), AzVision.az reports.

According to the agency, the meeting of the BSEC working group on tourism was held in the format of a videoconference under the chairmanship of Azerbaijan.

Deputy Secretary General of the OSCE Dimitrios Rallis and Deputy Chief of Staff of the State Tourism Agency, Head of International Relations Department Jalil Malikov, made opening speeches at the meeting.

At the meeting, they also exchanged views on topical issues related to the interests of the participating states in the tourism sector and projects that can be implemented jointly, as well as approved a report document on the results of the meeting.

According to the agency, the next meeting of the working group was decided to be held in December 2023.

Türkiye, Georgia, Armenia, Greece, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Moldova and Ukraine were also represented at the meeting.
