A great festival dedicated to the southern cuisine of Azerbaijan was held at the "Khazar Palas" hotel in Lenkaran within the framework of the festival.
The festival showcased dishes from the local cuisine as well as cultural examples of the southern region of Azerbaijan.
The visitors to the festival got familiar with the table culture of Azerbaijan by tasting delicious food - different dishes, drinks and in general every product related to Lenkaran cuisine.
Chefs' master classes were also shown at this important cultural event under the name "One Southern City".
The participants of the event tasted food from local private companies as well as viewed the products made at the Lankaran State Vocational Training Center and the samples of art. Foreign tourists also showed great interest in the festival.
Apart from that, the festival, which was a symbol of the most delicious event of the year, offered guests fun contests, music and dance. The festival continued until 23:00.
The distinctive aspects of Lenkaran cuisine have been passed down from generation to generation and have come to this day. Each of the dishes presented in this cuisine showed the historical traces of the rich table culture of the region.
Having such a culinary heritage, Lenkaran has, of course, always attracted the attention of world gourmands. Those trying to discover the magic of Azerbaijani gastronomy have always sought this region, where cuisine and culture are organically combined.
It should be noted that Lenkaran, one of the pearls of the southern region of Azerbaijan, is distinguished by its amazing gastronomic richness. That is why the cuisine of Lankaran, which is included in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, stands out for its uniqueness in our southern region.
