A panel was dedicated to “revealers” in the 16th International Anticorruption Conference held in Putrajaya - the administrative center of Malaysia. The motto of the plenary session was translated likewise:” Do not let them escape. Investigate and reveal the truth.

Briefly, I can say, in the modern global world civil society and analytical media are being rapidly substituted with the “revealers’ institution”. Main reporters in the events of OSCE, the European Union and European Council are not NGO or media representatives, they are merely masked revealers.

Sometimes the “revelers” disseminate such audio and video information, which could be dug up only by special service agencies of several powerful states. That is the case. Such “revealers” usually function under other powers’ hierarchy. They operate under the labels of “human rights defense” and “investigative journalism”. They act as clandestine tools for several world powers, transnational corporations and other organizations working on their order. Their main targets are governments. Governments pursuing independent policy, not conceding their state interests to external powers are being “beaten” via those “revealers”.

One of the main reporters in the panel of the 16th International Anticorruption Conference held in Malaysia was representative of OSCE on media freedom Dunya Miyatovich. Miyatovich impudently said, she had a special network and thus got the latest news even before the world biggest media organizations. This woman has forgotten about her mandate and is engaged in “revealing the truth” in “incoercible” OSCE member states.

However, she failed. The “revealers” seems to be weaker. Putting a stamp on the materials prepared by “civil societies” established by special service agencies does not make anyone a revealer.

Who are the real revealers? Why anybody does defend them?

Beside Dunya’s servants, true revealers exist in the world as well. However, nobody defends them.

I will talk about two of them: Edward Snouden and Julian Assanj. These persons exposed global crimes, in fact endowing their life to this mission. They made unbelievable contributions in order to prevent global attacks on human rights. Thus, why anybody does anything to protect them? Why the repressions against them are not being evaluated as a suppression of freedom of speech? Why the European Parliament do not adopt a resolution against the USA?

They revealed several violations against fundamental human rights of hundred millions in the USA. In fact, they sacrificed their own life. Spending whole life under the fear of prosecution is equal to sacrificing the life.

The answer is simple: the USA is allowed. Everyone should be scared of it. The representative of OSCE on media freedom Dunya Miyatovich keeps strict silence on this issue. If broke it, she would be risking to lose her mandate and to expose her true intentions. However, Azerbaijan should be “disparaged”.

“Our” “revealers”

What are the real intentions behind the dissemination of “materials” on Azerbaijan, prepared by the “journalist organizations” and signed by the “revealers?”- Putting a pressure on Azerbaijan.
Why those doing all their best to defend hired agencies do not defend Snouden and Assanj? We already mentioned the answer above.

What is going on?

As I noted before, civil society and analytical media are being rapidly substituted with the “revealers’ institution” in the world. The “surveillance agencies”, who produced them, possess hired guardians in the international organizations. Thus, qualified international organizations in human rights has become marionettes. True civil societies are being collapsed and substituted with the “revealers”. It does not offer anything better.
