Cekuta - Steps are being taken towards the resolution of Karabakh conflict
"Currently, steps are being taken towards the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict" said US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta

R. Cekuta noted that the co-chair of the United States in the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, together with other co-chairs seriously work in this direction: "As part of the UN General Assembly is scheduled to meet foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia. The work continues in other directions. Mr. Warlick in July, held here a meeting with IDPs. It is about the people affected by the conflict. To solve this problem, steps must be taken. In Azerbaijan 1 million people supper from this conflict".

The ambassador, commenting on the forthcoming ministerial meeting in New York, noted the importance of creating conditions for the parties to the conflict to continue negotiations.
