U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia/Ukraine/Eurasia, Mrs. Evelyn Farkas embarked on a visit to Azerbaijan on Sept. 18.
The visit is aimed at discussing cooperation between the two countries, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan told, AzVision.az reports citing APA.
She will meet with several officials in Azerbaijan.
Bilateral relations, including cooperation in the field of security and defense issues will be discussed at the meetings with Azerbaijani state officials.
