The head of Intra-National Liberation Movement Vahan Martirosyan has been wanted by the police since September 9. He is accused of grand theft, Sona Truzyan, advisor to the chairman of Armenia’s Investigative Committee told Panorama.am
V. Martirosyan sought asylum in Azerbaijan and he is going to give a press conference today.
“According to preliminary information, Martirosyan along with his wife and child spent several days in the apartment of an acquaintance. He stole $4,000 from that apartment. The investigative unit of Yerevan’s Arabkir district brought a charge against him, but Martirosyan did not come to the investigative body so he is wanted by the police since September 9,” S. Truzyan told Panorama.am.
As regards V. Martorosyan was beaten by several subordinates of MP Mher Sedrakyan.
Note, Vahan Emilyevich Martirosyan, head of the Armenian Intra-national Liberation Movement, together with his wife and underage child fled to Azerbaijan to seek political asylum to protect himself and his familiy.
For its activities, the opposition Intra-national Liberation Movement organization, led by Martirosyan has faced prosecution from Armenian state authorities and different officials.
