TurAz Falcon 2015 joint drills end - PHOTO
The joint tactical exercises TurAz Falcon 2015 of the Azerbaijani and Turkish air forces, which had begun on August 22, came to a close on September 18.

The event attended by deputy Defense Minister and Commander of the Air Force Lieutenant-General Ramiz Tahirov and representative of the Turkish Air Force Colonel Nihat Cirakoglu went on with analyses of the performance of flight and technical personnel, and achievement made were mentioned and joint plans were discussed.

The command praised the performance displayed by pilots who professionally performed all the tasks, making use of the advantages of the tactical and technical features of the warplanes.

It was said the holding of such joint exercises between the air forces on a regular basis will help both countries’ pilots improve their skills, plan their joint operations, learn interaction and combat coordination on carrying out operations, etc.
