During the ceremony, the ambassador conveyed the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to head of Trinidad and Tobago.
Sultanov also said that there is potential for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and the two countries have potential for cooperation in energy, culture, education and others.
Having thanked the ambassador, head of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago asked to convey his greetings and best wishes to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Carmona also said that the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is interested in developing bilateral relations with Azerbaijan.
The sides exchanged views on expansion of bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
In addition, Sultanov held a series of meetings with officials of the ministry of foreign affairs of the republic, during which the prospects of expanding relations between the two countries were discussed.
