A peaceful rally has been held outside the Armenian embassy in the Hague, the Netherlands, co-organized by the European Azerbaijani Women's Union “Ana Vatan” (“Motherland”) and the Benelux Azerbaijanis Congress.
During the rally, participants expressed their protests against Armenia, who is not providing maps of the landmines that were planted by them in the territories of Azerbaijan during the Armenian occupation for many years that continues to kill civilians even today. They demanded to put an end to mine terror, which remains one of the most serious threat in the world today.
The protesters held up slogans such as "Armenian landmines kill civilians!", "Azerbaijan wants peace, Armenia wants war" and “Armenia rejects peace" calling on Armenia to support peace and provide mine maps.
The main purpose of the protest action is to draw the international community's attention to the fact that mine terror is a very serious threat to the future of our planet, as well as to massive contamination of Azerbaijan's terrtories with mines by Armenia, and demand from Armenia to provide maps of minefields in Karabakh.
