The meeting will be held in Vienna, with the assistance of the OSCE Minsk Group, co-chaired by Russia, the U.S. and France.
"This is their first meeting in the last year and a half after they sat down at the negotiating table in Sochi in spring 2012," diplomatic source close to one of the delegations of the mediators told.
"It is remarkable that Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev for the first time in many years will discuss the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh without intermediaries, face to face," the source added.
It is assumed that the negotiations will start in the presence of representatives of the OSCE Minsk Group, and then the presidents will meet one-on- one, and then talk about the outcome of the consultation to OSCE diplomats.
