"There is international pressure and it is growing, but particularly when international pressure increases, we must close ranks and we need to stand together against the attempts to stop the war," Netanyahu said.
He promised to achieve the complete destruction of the Hamas group.
"Israel will continue its operations in the Gaza Strip, including in Rafah, the last stronghold of Hamas," the Prime Minister added.
In the past 24 hours in the Gaza Strip, the Israel Defense Forces discovered a large amount of weapons and ammunition, and also destroyed several Hamas command posts in several areas of Khan Yunis, south of the enclave. In the central part of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military destroyed a group of Hamas militants.
Artillery also fired at targets in Gaza and other cities of the enclave.
