Russian citizens in Azerbaijan can vote in presidential elections

Russian citizens residing in Azerbaijan can vote in the Russian presidential elections.

Thus, Russian citizens residing or temporarily living on the Azerbaijani territory far from Baku can vote in the Russian presidential elections in the country’s second biggest city – Ganja on March 10, AzVision.az reports citing the Russian embassy in Azerbaijan.

“The Russian citizens can also vote in Ganja anticipatorily. It is possible to vote in the city administration building on March 10, 2024 from 10:00 to 18:00 [GMT+4],” the message says.

One polling station will operate in Azerbaijan on March 17. It will open in the consular department of the Russian embassy in Baku.

Voting will be carried out from 08:00 to 20:00 (GMT+4). It is possible to vote by showing a valid foreign or internal passport, the embassy staff said.

The Russian presidential elections will be held on March 15, 16 and 17, 2024. Four candidates will take part. Among them are incumbent president Vladimir Putin, MPs Nikolai Kharitonov, Leonid Slutsky and Vladislav Davankov.
