The diplomat noted that the main area of cooperation between the parties is the topic of climate change this year.
The European Union and Azerbaijan remain close partners, he said, adding that the EU is ready to continue dialogue and close cooperation.
According to him, the obvious topic of this year will be the fight against climate change as an area of global importance
It should be noted that in November this year Azerbaijan will host the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
