He noted that the parties will build a multi-brand service center for Belarusian equipment.
“We must seriously expand production cooperation - along with tractors, we will assemble municipal and other equipment in Azerbaijan, as well as Belarusian elevators. We will supply firefighting equipment,” he added.
There are plans to create a joint production of medicinal and veterinary drugs, as well as the production of mixed fertilizers from Azerbaijani nitrogen and Belarusian potassium.
Petrishenko also said that Belarus will contribute to the revival of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. One of the main projects will be the creation of an integrated modern agricultural town in the Agdam district, including the production and processing of agricultural products, as well as housing and social facilities for workers and members of their families.
“We plan to present the concept of this comprehensive project to the heads of state,” he added.
He emphasized that the economic sphere has been and remains at the forefront of the partnership between the two countries, as it gives a real mutually beneficial result. “I am convinced that through joint efforts we will be able to implement all the agreements reached at the highest level and implement joint projects for the benefit of our countries and peoples,” the deputy prime minister concluded.
