Our realities are the best response to evil-wishers, anti-Azerbaijani, anti-Islamic forces.

Let them come and see with their own eyes. I can say that the absolute majority of foreign guests who come to Azerbaijan leave our country with the kindest wishes, since they are not biased, they come to Azerbaijan with good intentions.

I have already said and I want to repeat that we are open to all foreign guests who come to our country with good intentions.

The President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev made the statement at the first session of the Fourth Islamic Games Organizing Committee.

“Azerbaijan is a land of multiculturalism. There has never been any discrimination on religious and national ground in Azerbaijan. We are an example for many countries especially now when Muslim refugees suffer greatly. This causes our outrage. I have to note that Azerbaijan is among those countries which express their position. We do not tolerate injustice. We support justice and humane attitude. We have our own position on all important international issues. I consider that if our experience is studied, there will be less conflicts and clashes on religious and national ground in the world.

Azerbaijan is a pattern. This is a normal way of living. I want to say that we do not see any extraordinary achievements in our work. This is a normal lifestyle. Simply, in some countries the normal lifestyle is undermined and racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia are ruling.

I am confident that the Islamic Games will primarily strengthen Islamic solidarity and show to the Islamic world and the whole planet that Islam is a religion of peace, mercy and brotherhood. They will also show to the world that Azerbaijan is a country with great potential, able to host the most prestigious international events,” the head of state said.
