I have been deeply saddened by the news of a stampede during Hajj pilgrimage.
AzVision.az reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed the condolences to Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia Sept.24.
"I have been deeply saddened by the news of a stampede during Hajj pilgrimage, in which a large number of pilgrims were killed and injured. On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deep condolences to you, families and loved ones of those who died, and wish those injured recovery. May Allah rest the souls of those who died in peace!"
