  Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed to continue the work towards the conclusion of peace agreement

On 10 July 2024, under the initiative and with participation of the U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met in Washington, D.C. on the sidelines of the NATO 75th Anniversary Summit, Azertag reported.

The parties noted the progress Azerbaijan and Armenia have achieved towards the conclusion of an historic agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations, and agreed to continue the work.

The two parties have expressed their gratitude to the Secretary of State for hosting the meeting.
