He scored 7.5 points after 9 rounds.
The Azerbaijani chess player shared the points with Boyan Maksimovic (Bosnia-Herzegovina) in the last round. This allowed Eltaj to maintain its position on the 1st level. The prize fund of the tournament was 35 thousand euros.
138 chess players from 36 countries fought for victory in Serbia Open-2024.
