Azerbaijan applies for membership in BRICS

Azerbaijan applies for membership in BRICS

Azerbaijan has officially applied for membership in BRICS, Aykhan Hajizada Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, AzVision.az reports.

Azerbaijan had previously expressed its interest in becoming a member of the organization. Russia, Brazil, India, China, and South Africa comprise the informal organization known as BRICS.
