  Azerbaijan set to increase number of polling stations in its liberated areas

The number of polling stations in the territories liberated from Armenian occupation will be increased in the future, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov said, AzVision.az reports. 

He noted that as the Great Return project's process progresses, the number of polling stations will also grow. “There are currently 54 polling stations operating in the areas liberated from occupation.

On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
