  Pashinyan has not yet made decision on participation in COP29 in Baku

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has not yet made a decision on his participation in the COP29 international climate forum in Baku, AzVision.az reports. 

Pashinyan made the remark August 31 at an online press conference, Report informs referring to Armenian media.

"We will make a decision at the appropriate time. We have no decision now. The general situation, processes, atmosphere, of course, cannot but influence this decision," Pashinyan said.

"But, if we talk theoretically now, then theoretically no decision can be ruled out, everything depends on the situation and the assessment of the situation, which will influence our decision," he added.

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev told journalists at the Second Shusha Global Media Forum on July 21, 2024 that COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev sent a letter with an official invitation to the minister of foreign affairs of Armenia.
