The captain of the Taiwanese Eva Airways flight from Bangkok to Vienna sent a request to Heydar Aliyev International Airport for an emergency landing, AzVision.az reports.
The reason was a sudden deterioration in the health of one of the passengers on board.
The Boeing 787 aircraft landed at Baku Airport at 06:49 local time.
The medical personnel confirmed the absence of a pulse in the passenger and immediately began providing the necessary assistance. However, despite all efforts, unfortunately, it was not possible to save the passenger's life.
Heydar Aliyev International Airport extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
