  Azerbaijani prosecutor general addresses Eastern Economic Forum in Russia 

The delegation headed by Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev is on a working visit to Vladivostok, Russia, AzVision.az reports.

The delegation took part in the Eastern Economic Forum on September 5.

In his opening remarks, Russian President Vladimir Putin hoped that the forum will serve as a model for productive discourse and help bring about solutions to the world's economic crises.

The Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan also gave an interview to Russia 24 TV channel.

Addressing the session devoted to the protection of the rights of business entities organized by the General Prosecutor's Office of Russia, Kamran Aliyev noted that under the political course of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, development of entrepreneurship is one of the major priorities of state policy. Recent reforms have strengthened the legal framework and infrastructure for entrepreneurship. The Prosecutor General explained that large-scale rehabilitation is underway in territories liberated from the 30-year Armenian occupation, establishing a favorable business environment for investments in Karabakh and East Zangezur.

Aliyev also touched upon large-scale reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in the prosecutor's office, the activity of relevant structures of the prosecutor's office in the sphere of protection of interests of legal entities and individuals engaged in entrepreneurship.

The Azerbaijani prosecutor general also informed that COP29, the world's most prestigious international event, will be held in November this year in Azerbaijan.

There were other speakers during the event, and everyone had a chance to voice their thoughts and ideas.

Within the framework of the visit, the Azerbaijani prosecutor general held bilateral meetings with colleagues from Thailand and Laos, and prospects for cooperation were discussed.
