Answering journalists' questions at the International Cernobbio Forum held in Italy, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban described Azerbaijan as a country of strategic importance for the European Union.
The head of the Hungarian government stated: “Azerbaijan is closely cooperating with Europe. Currently, Azerbaijan has become a country of strategic importance. Therefore, as the Presidency of the EU Council, we support the development of strategic cooperation with Azerbaijan.”
