A memorandum of further cooperation was signed between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Zamin Foundation (Uzbekistan) during a meeting between delegations of the foundations, AzVision.az reports.
Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov and Head of the Executive Body of the Zamin International Public Foundation Tamilla Aliyeva discussed joint cooperation and future projects.
The meeting shone a spotlight on the ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, underscoring the role of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Zamin Foundation as non-governmental organizations from both nations, in sync with the high-level state relations.
The meeting explored future joint activities in education, healthcare, and culture, as well as youth exchanges and mutual visits between the two countries.
Joining forces with the Zamin Foundation in light of COP29, which Azerbaijan is set to host this coming November, was also a hot topic on the table.
