  Azerbaijan, Belarus FMs discuss aspects of strategic partnership relations

On September 28, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, AzVision.az reports, citing the Azerbaijani MFA.

The meeting discussed an exchange of views on various aspects of the existing strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus.

During the meeting, there was expressed satisfaction with the level of strategic partnership relations between the two countries, and it was emphasized that continuing high-level meetings and political dialogue is important in terms of identifying new areas of cooperation and taking the partnership to a qualitatively new level.

It was noted that the dialogue between the leaders of the two countries plays an important role in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus. In this regard, the historic visit of the President of Belarus to the liberated territories of Azerbaijan was recalled.

It was noted that such contacts play an important role in discussing the prospects of existing relations of friendship and cooperation.

The prospects for cooperation in various areas of the economy, including trade and investment, were emphasized, as was the importance of using these opportunities.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
