"80 percent of the world's population suffers from climate change," said Nigar Arpadarai, UN climate change high-level champion for COP29 Azerbaijan as she addressed the round table on "High-level national event on climate change and children" held at ADA University within the framework of the Baku Climate Action Week.
She noted that the third day of the Baku Climate Action Week features discussions on global challenges. "The discussions on energy, water consumption, agriculture, finance and other issues are underway, and this process will be continued at COP29. Our main goal is to encourage young people to solve these problems", Nigar Arpadarai added.
