The Innovation Center has set an ambitious goal - to position Azerbaijan as a regional business and innovation hub, the head of the center Elvin Hajiyev said during the opening of the first innovation center in Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports.
"To achieve this goal, we plan to bring together technology entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and innovators under one roof, creating favorable conditions for collaboration and the exchange of ideas," he said.
Hajiyev added that the Innovation Center aims to foster the development of new ideas and the implementation of innovations in practical activities.
"This includes supporting the creation of startups, conducting research and development, commercializing new technologies, and fostering close cooperation with government entities, universities, and the private sector. This will create an ecosystem where innovations are not just ideas but tangible products capable of impacting the economy of the country and the region as a whole," he added.
