The Italian delegation at the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) will be led by the head of the Italian government, Giorgia Meloni, Francesco Corvaro, the Italian government's special envoy for climate action told reporters on the sidelines of Pre-COP29 in Baku.
"Italy will be represented at COP29 by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and her delegation will also include the country's Minister of Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin," Corvaro said.
