Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament Sahiba Gafarova has met with President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmus during the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, Switzerland.
The two officials expressed satisfaction with the comprehensive development of the close cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, AzVision.az reports citing Kurtulmus’ message on X.
"We also discussed regional and global events, reaffirming our ongoing support for our brotherly Azerbaijan and our commitment to demonstrating solidarity on international platforms," the message says.
Moreover, Gafarova also met with Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf during the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
