State Department: Washington never tied Baku-Yerevan peace agreement to COP29

The United States has never tied the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia to COP29, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said at a regular briefing, AzVision.az reports.

"We never tied the agreement to COP. We wanted to see a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan months ago and have been pushing for a peace agreement, ultimately hoped to get one over the line. But that’s up to the two parties, not the United States," he said.
