  Kazakhstan’s Independence Day marked in Baku

The Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was celebrated in Baku.

The national anthems of both countries were performed.

Addressing the event, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, Alim Bayel, highlighted the path his country has taken during its years of independence.

Emphasizing Kazakh-Azerbaijani relations, the ambassador noted that they would do their utmost to further develop these ties, which have risen to the level of a strategic partnership-alliance.

Elnur Mammadov, Azerbaijan`s Deputy Foreign Minister, underlined that during the years of independence, both countries have made significant progress to become key states in their region.

Mentioning the agreements and declarations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the deputy minister noted that with the establishment of the Supreme Interstate Council on April 23 of last year, these relations have entered a new stage of development.

Following the event, individuals who played a special role in cooperation with Kazakhstan were awarded.
