Adil Karimli, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture, embarked on a visit to Cascais city of Portugal at the invitation of the Miguel Ángel Moratinos, High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, to attend the 10th UNAOC Global Forum on the theme “United in peace: Restoring trust, reshaping the future - Reflecting on two decades of dialogue for humanity,” which will take place on November 25–27.
During the three-day event, UN Secretary-General António Guterres will join ambassadors and representatives from civil society and the private sector as they exchange views and share experiences at diverse thematic panel discussions that aim to galvanise a collective will to drive change on today’s most serious challenges with innovative solutions, including inter-generational paths to sustainable development, religious mediation for peace and upending hate.
