Turkish PM to visit Gaza to discuss lifting Israel`s blockade
Turkey personally wants to see the lifting of Israel`s blockade on the Gaza Strip and payment of compensation to the families of the victims of the military operation against the `Freedom Flotilla`, TRT Haber TV channel quotes Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan as saying on Tuesday.

Erdogan said he will head to Gaza in April to monitor the situation with the lifting of the blockade.
"Israel`s apology to Turkey and fulfilment of two other conditions does not excuse Tel Aviv`s actions against the Palestinians," Erdogan said.

The agreement on the normalisation of relations between Turkey and Israel was reached last Friday after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, apologised for violations committed during maritime operations that caused the death of Turkish citizens.

As the Office of the Israeli Prime Minister said government heads had agreed to restore normal relations, including the return of the ambassadors and Turkey`s refusal of legal prosecution of Israeli servicemen.
