Wojciech Sawicki re-elected PACE Secretary General

Today, at the second day of the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) held elections for the post of Secretary General of the organization.

For this position claimed two candidates: incumbent Secretary General Wojciech Sawicki and Serbian MP Svetislava Bulazhich.

According to voting results Wojciech Sawicki with 140 votes favor was re-elected to the post of Secretary General of PACE. For Svetislava Bulazhich voted 108 deputies.

Note that Wojciech Sawicki 5 years will occupy the post of General Secretary.
