A meeting on the results of 2024 was held with military attachés from foreign countries accredited to Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense reported. The International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense hosted the meeting.
The meeting was attended by 34 representatives from foreign states accredited to Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the event, Colonel Elchin Abdullayev, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, highlighted Azerbaijan's historic victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended the 30-year occupation and separatist regime, ensuring security in the South Caucasus region.
The meeting reviewed the achievements in military cooperation throughout 2024 and provided detailed information on the attachés’ visits to various territories of Azerbaijan. A comprehensive exchange of views was conducted on activities planned for the upcoming year, and prospective plans were discussed. Questions from the military attachés were also addressed during the meeting.
