The UN forecasts 3% economic growth in Azerbaijan in 2025, AzVision.az reports.

This forecast is included in the organization's published report "World Economic Situation and Prospects 2025."

According to the report, the country's economy shows positive dynamics.

Economic growth in Azerbaijan accelerated in 2024 due to strengthening domestic demand and development of the non-oil sector. Growing global demand for Azerbaijani natural gas is expected to continue supporting GDP growth in 2025, the document states.

The UN also forecasts Azerbaijan's GDP growth at 3% for 2026. According to UN estimates, Azerbaijan's GDP grew by 4.6% in 2024, following 1.1% growth in 2023.

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy forecasts GDP growth at 3.5% for 2025 and 2.8% for 2026.
